I have to admit that I was feeling pretty gloomy about the way current events were progressing. I was locked into the fear-focused news our mainstream media is feeding us. My partner, Connie and I even began reading survival manuals and searching for land in Costa Rica all in the attempt to escape mankind's eminent destruction. That is until we watched the video lecture by the late Ian Lungold, “The Mayan Calendar Comes North.” Ian was a student of Dr. Carl Calleman, author of “The Mayan Calendar and the Transformation of Consciousness.” No other video featured on Enlightenment Network comes close to offering a cogent explanation about the seeming chaos our world is currently experiencing.
I was stunned by the elegant math that gave the Mayan Calendar it's harmonic progression from the moment of the Big Bang to today's collapse of the banking system. I was completely convinced by the wisdom of the Maya when I realized how accurately all of Earth's history, including mankind's, fit into every step of the calendar's timeline. But, moreover, I was inoculated with a strong dose of hope when it was explained that the evolution of consciousness is behind all of it. Every event no matter how seemingly cruel or destructive had the ultimate purpose of advancing the ultimate awakening of the planet.
We are living in the most profound, exciting time in all of history. We carry within us the the hope of 16.4 billion years of of evolution. It was relieving to realize that all of the craziness around us is the shrugging off of a heavy skin that can no longer accommodate the powerful, co-creating beings we are becoming. It took Connie and I two screenings and a little patience to get the real impact of Ian”s prophetic words. Since that time we have truly noticed that as time moves on our intentions are strangely manifesting with greater and greater speed. We have put down the survival manuals and are leaving Costa Rica to the more rugged. We've come to believe that our efforts are better focused exploring the real estate within.
